Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated the Hyatt Regency, five star hotel project by Lulu and Hyatt in the capital. With this, Hyatt Regency became one of the largest five-star hotels operating in the heart of the city.

The Chief Minister said that this is a step that will give impetus to the investment friendly atmosphere of the State . He opined that this project has addressed one of the major deficiencies in the capital city. V Muraleedharan - Union Minister said that the project will be a turning point in the growth of Kerala's capital. VD Satheesan, Opposition Leader said in his speech that projects like this are most crucial for the development and progress of the State.

In his welcome address, Lulu Group Chairman Yusuff Ali M.A. announced the launch of Hyatt Hotel in Kozhikode with an investment of Rs 500 crore. Ministers PA Muhammad Riyaz, Antony Raju, G R Anil, V Sivankutty, Shashi Tharoor MP, P K Kunjalikutty, Ramesh Chennithala and others were the special guests at the function held at the Great Hall Convention Centre of the hotel.

Hyatt Regency Thiruvananthapuram has been completed with an investment of Rs 600 crores. The Hyatt Regency boasts the city's largest convention centre, largest presidential suite and diplomatic suite. Other features include 132 rooms including spacious suites with state-of-the-art amenities and five diverse dining destinations. The multilevel parking facility also makes the

Hyatt Regency stand out. The hotel will be able to park 400 cars and 250 two-wheelers at a time.

Hyatt Regency, Thiruvananthapuram is the third hotel opened in Kerala by Lulu Group and Hyatt Hotels Corporation followed by Grand Hyatt Kochi and Hyatt Regency Thrissur.
