Lulu Unveils AWWAL – Putting UAE Products First

H.E. Dr. Thani Al Zeyoudi Launches Lulu’s New UAE Product Range with Chairman Yusuffali M.A. at Global Food Week

Abu Dhabi, 6 October 2026: Lulu Group has unveiled AWWAL, an exclusive new range bringing together products grown, produced and manufactured in the UAE under one distinctive retail identity.

AWWAL was officially launched by H.E. Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of Foreign Trade, alongside Yusuffali M.A., Chairman of Lulu Group, at the Lulu stand during Global Food Week 2026 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi.

Built around the positioning “UAE Comes First,” AWWAL brings together three key categories — UAE Grown, featuring locally grown fruits, vegetables, dates and herbs; UAE Produced, including dairy, eggs, poultry, honey and other locally produced foods; and UAE Made, covering food and other products manufactured in the UAE. The range is designed to give UAE products greater visibility and make it easier for shoppers to identify, discover and choose locally grown, produced and made products.

Through distinctive AWWAL branding, dedicated in-store displays, promotions and consumer campaigns, Lulu aims to create a strong retail platform connecting UAE farmers, producers and manufacturers with its large and diverse customer base.

The initiative reflects Lulu’s commitment to supporting local businesses, creating greater market opportunities for UAE products and encouraging consumers to choose local.
